Powered by Radicle, the Climate Smart Business software provides a unique service that enables businesses to measure and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions while strengthening their business at the same time. We offer a hands-on training program, a web-based carbon management program, one-on-one client support, and Climate Smart Certification.

We are looking for a solid addition to our business development and sales team. Each Business Engagement Sales team member is a driver and a collaborative team player, highly self-directed and target-driven, who has experience in Technology Enabled Services and is passionate about the environment.

Primary Job Components

  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities to close
  • Articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating enthusiasm for our environmental solutions
  • Generate a pipeline
  • Maintain weekly sales forecasts and achieve quota quarterly. Run compelling software demos focused on buyer enablement

About You

Radicle is looking for a sales hunter, someone who is passionate about sustainability with excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present technical and non-technical information clearly and concisely. Our ideal candidate is highly self-driven, adaptable and proactive, a team­ player, and has a passion for enabling buyers to make an informed choice.

Experience, Skills and Characteristics

  • Passion for environmental sustainability
  • 1-year previous Technology Enabled Services software selling experience in a Small-Medium-Business/Growth business or Business Development Representative (BDR)/Sales Development Representative (SDR) role
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals (President's club, Rep of the Year, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous sales experience as part of a start Startup is a plus
  • Must have experience cold calling and providing quality and efficient customer service
  • Self-starter and hunter mentality can learn quickly and adapt to build pipeline strategically
