For a third consecutive year, the newly rebranded Radicle has ranked on the Technology Fast 500 rankings for the fastest-growing technology and life sciences companies in North America.

Calgary, Canada Radicle Group Inc. (Radicle) announced today that it was recognized on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and energy tech companies in North America. This is the third consecutive year Radicle has made the Fast 500 list.

Deloitte has been recognizing the most innovative private and public technology companies across North America for the past 26 years. The Technology Fast 500 rankings were created to recognize the passion and dedication it takes to be an industry disruptor, something that’s in Radicle’s lifeblood. The ranking is compiled based on submitted applications and public company database research, with winners selected based on percentage fiscal-year growth over a three-year period.

Radicle’s 296% revenue growth in 2020 can be attributed to the ongoing innovation in the Software as a Service (SaaS) marketplace, and established experience in the Alberta carbon market.

“Radicle is a company that provides end-to-end cleantech solutions, and our clients are coming to us for guidance,” says Ed Alfke, CEO of Radicle. “Whether they are just beginning their sustainability journey or looking to scale solutions that enable both environmental diversification and economic prosperity, we have a team with solid expertise behind them to deliver on that.”

“Each year the Technology Fast 500 listing validates how important technology innovation is to our daily lives. It was interesting to see this year that while software companies continued to dominate, biotech companies rose to the top of the winners list for the first time, demonstrating that new categories of innovation are accelerating in the pursuit of making life easier, safer, and more productive,” said Mohana Dissanayake, Partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and industry leader for technology, media and telecommunications, within Deloitte’s audit and assurance practice. “We extend sincere congratulations to these well-deserved winners — who all embody a spirit of curiosity, and a never-ending commitment to making technology advancements possible.”

Radicle ranked #337 among the top 500 alongside two other notable Calgary-based software companies Helcim and Aucerna. Overall, 2020 Technology Fast 500 companies achieved a three-year revenue growth rate from 2017-2020, ranging from 175% to 106,508%, with a median growth of 448%.
